Territory:
Gayle & Company sales associates
have small territories giving us very strong road coverage. About 90%
of Gayle & Companies sales are generated on the road, with 10% of our
business generated at our 12 (or more) booths at the San Francisco
International Gift Fair which is held twice a year. Our show booths
have won many awards and were designed by the principal of Gayle &
Company.
Commitment to Coverage:
To maximize road sales, each associate has a relatively limited
geographical territory making it possible for accounts to be serviced in
depth. Much effort from our associates goes into inventory control and
offering ideas on merchandising and display to help maximize sales. If
any of our sales associates are representing too many lines the
territory will be or is changed to two divisions
Commitment
to Training:
Gayle & Company has a “hands on” management approach.
The Principal conducts both group and individual meetings on
a regular basis. Each meeting covers an exchange of ideas
and success stories, in depth merchandise training, review of
territory or company goals and opportunities for opening new
accounts. Goals are given for every manufacturer and are
reviewed on a quarterly basis. Unsatisfactory performance
is not acceptable. Gayle & Company is committed to
territory growth and this is addressed with every associate
both monthly and quarterly.
Gayle
Harger has over 20 years experience in sales and sales management
both retail and wholesale. For several years Gayle has been
on the Review Board of Western Exhibitors for the SanFrancisco
International Gift Fair when affiliated with her former company.
Gayle
Harger is currently a member of the Gift and Home Trade Association
(formally known as United Sales Association). After many years
as one of the principals of the California Gift Pros, Gayle
decided to request a separation from her former business partner.
With an aim to continue the reputation of California Gift Pros
for professionalism, Gayle and Company was formed. Gayle &
Company's total commitment to the manufacturer reflects Gayle's
personal assurance to continued excellence in service and professionalism. |
